First part - acclimatization.
1 July (Friday) - flight Munich-Minvody, transfer to alp camp 1800m in the Adylsu Valley, accomodation.
2 July (Saturday) - hiking to glacier Kashka-tash 2500m, ice-climbing, back to alp camp.
3 July (Sunday) - hiking up to the Green Hotel Bivouac 2400m, night in tents.
4 July (Monday) - hiking up to Djantugan platou 3600m, organization of bivouac, ascent of Mt. Gumachi 3805m 1B degree (mixt route, about
2 hours), coming down to the bivouac on platou,
night in tents.
5 July (Tuesday) - ascent to Mt. Djantugan 3991 m 2A degree (mixt route, about 6 hours),
ascent to Mt.Gumachi (other route - snow) or Mt. Trapezium 3740m 2A degree (mixt route, about 8 hours); all groups come back to the bivouac on the platou, night in tent.
6 July (Wednesday) - everybody comes down to alp camp for the rest.
Second part - sport climbing.
7 July (Thursday) - hiking up to VCSPS pass 3850m, night in tents.
8 July (Friday) - ascent to Mt.Kurmychi 4050m 2B degree (ice route),
ascent to mt.Kurmychi 2A degree (snow route), all groups comes back to bivouac, night in tents.
9 July (Saturday) - everybody comes down to alp camp for the rest.
10 July (Sunday) - a day of a rest (reserve day).
Third part - Elbrus climbing.
11 July (Monday) - transfer alp camp - Azau, elevating by the Elbrus
Cableway to the Garabashi Station 3750m, hiking up to the camp 4400m, night in tents.
12 July (Tuesday) - ascent of the Mt. Elbrus 5642m 2A degree (about 10 hours), coming down to the camp 4400m, night in tents.
13 July (Wednesday) - coming back to the alp camp, a rest.
14 July (Thursday) - a day of a rest (reserve day).
15 July (Friday) - early morning transfer to airport, flight Minvody-Munich.
This is basic program. It costs approximately 600 euro per person
including
- all necessary formalities: Russian visa invitations, registration
in Russia, permission to enter the border region,
- transfer airport - alp camp and back,
- alp camp accomodation (rooms for 2-3-4 persons),
- Local transportations,
- Elbrus Cableway,
- food while in the mountains,
- mountain guides (1 for 3 persons),
- organizing and overhead expenses.
Not included
- National park fees,
- food in local cafe (usual price is 3-4 euro) and drinks.
The exact price may be calculated after discussion of the
details and also according to a final number of participants.
Price may be decreased if
- you stay in tents (not rooms) while in alp camp,
- you carry and cook a food for your own,
- some persons dont need in guiding.
If you feel the second part of program (sport climbing) is not
enough sportive we can make it more serious (routes of 3-5 degrees).
It will be extra cost according to degree.
